Within just two days, we enter the month of November where Randers Regnskov focuses on snakes. This means that on November 7th-8th, 14th-15th and 21st-22nd you have the opportunity to get a very unique family portrait taken together with a big, beautiful Burmese python. Does your meeting with this giant awake your appetite for snakes, it is also possible to actually taste snake meat as our guides prepare and serve free samples twice a day in these three weekends.
Finally, in November there will be extra snake displays, and in the entrance area, you can read lots of amazing stories about these magnificent animals – from myths to facts. Did you for instance know that most snakes have between 180 and 250 teeth? Or that the Native Americans in the South American rainforest believe that the Amazon River was created by a giant anaconda that twisted and turned through the landscape several years ago?
On the pictures to the right you see a young green tree python, a snail eating snake, and finally a Burmese python. It is meat from the latter that you have the chance to taste in the first three weekends of November.
