Vorup Meadows

Randers Regnskov is also engaged in nature reestablishment in our immediate area, as we manage Vorup Meadows, a water meadow located on the opposite side of Gudenåen. The aim of the project is to recreate a valuable meadow, inform the public about the plant and animal life in the area, and conserve some of the old Danish breeds of domestic animals, such as horses, cows and sheep. Next year you will also be able to see European Bison graze in the area.
