Owl monkeys are colorblind because they are nocturnal, which means that color vision is no advantage for them.
No access for intoxicated persons
Randers Regnskov is a family attraction, where everyone should be able to have fun and feel safe. Noticeably intoxicated individuals are therefore not allowed to enter Randers Regnskov and will be turned away at the entrance. If we notice intoxicated persons inside the facilities, they will be expelled from Randers Regnskov.
Don't bring dogs and other pets into Randers Regnskov
Do not bring dogs and other pets into Randers Regnskov. We have this policy because of the many free-ranging animals in the domes, and also to avoid that sick pets infect our animals. If it is necessary for you to bring your dog on your vacation, Randers Regnskov offers dog parking, where there is shelter, shade and fresh water. Do not leave the dog in the car.
Only water is allowed inside the domes
It is not allowed to bring ice cream, food and beverages into the domes. The only exception to this rule is that you can bring bottled water. On hot days it is even advisable to do this, as the high temperatures in the domes makes you sweat a lot.
Don’t bring your buggy
Don’t bring your buggy with you. Instead, Randers Regnskov Tropical Zoo would be happy to provide you with a stroller or sling for your child.

Randers Regnskov is a smoke-free area. You can smoke outdoors at the entrance, at the outside lunch area, and in the playground behind the café.
